Each minute you sweat, you gain!

Ok I am back in action and ready to talk about life. Besides lwatching some awesome meets I have come across some interesting information that I would love to share. I have actually found studies on excerise incentives....I know sometimes you wonder "what do i get out of running?" And if you don't think that read on anyways (its cool). SO as I dip into my jar of information I pull out this. Did you know: Running for 1 to 15 minutes will temporarily sharpen your hand eye coordination. Which is great since there are so many games on this website that are hard..you need all the help you can get! A study at the university of Minnesota at Deuluth did a study where people upped their ability to process moving objects from 60 percent to 80 percent. Running for 30 minutes straight (basically a single cardio session) helps to process information faster and focus your attention better. (study from Urbana-Champaign) So no excuses on missing important dates. :) Running for 90 minutes a day may help prevent blood sugar spikes. A study at University of Michigan at Ann Arbor notes that a 1 1/2 hour stint improves muscles ability to take sugar from the blood stream for 16 hours reducing a diabites risk. ANd if you are running 120 minutes not only are you awesome but you are raising your HDL levels..which is good cholesterol(if you didn't know). A report from Ochanomizu University in Tokyo finds that HDL uptick could mean up to 7.6 percent reduction in cardivascular desiese risk.
